Spring Events 

A special and novel evening in store at St Thomas Becket, Lydlinch

 on Friday 5 June starting at 7.30. Featuring the Songbirds, 

Hummingbirds and Raucous Chorus!  Wine, marvellous morsels and much singing.

To keep the church open and the bells ringing.

Looking further ahead, on Sun 28th June, Canzonetta 

will be performing at St Nicholas, Worth Matravers - 

a beautiful ancient church with a completely new roof 

after a project costing more than £600,000.   

Summer Events - one especially for DHCT on 9 July

Four Hands, One Piano - Ragtime Meets Boogie Woogie 

7.30pm for 8pm on Thu 9 Jul in Holy Trinity, West Lulworth

We are delighted to announce an exceptional concert to be 

given by international Blues and Boogie Woogie star 

Julian Phillips who joins Ragtime expert Mike Denham 

to explore these two remarkable, contrasting piano styles, 

which emerged alongside one another and influenced 

a whole century of popular music including jazz, 

rhythm & blues and rock’n’roll. Visit Mike Denham’s website

The concert will be in aid of Dorset Historic Churches Trust 

as a thank you for their generous grants towards 

fabric repairs to the four churches of the Lulworths parish over recent years.
